My Teaching with Technology Philosophy

With the recent influx and prevalence of technology and its importance in the educational world, it is imperative that students be made aware of the possibilities that technology can offer and the value it can have on their education. Technology can significantly enhance the quality of teaching and learning. Because each student has differing educational needs, technology can help to individualize education by allowing students to experiment with different programs to find what works best for them. By incorporating hands-on and activity based projects involoving technology will help shape students experiences in the classroom to make them authentic and memorable.
Schools and teachers should help prepare students for the challenges and realities that students can face in the real world. Therefore, teachers should make students aware of the benefits that technology can have not only on students' education in the classroom, but so they are aware of how technology can benefit them in the real world as well.
