Learning to Change and Changing to Learn

While watching the video, "Learning to Change and Changing to Learn", it was clear that technology is very prevalent in our society today. Children are getting cell phones and learning to use computers younger and younger everyday. Technology enriches and engages students outside of school with features such as text messaging, Instant Messenger, Facebook. However most of these are banned from schools. These tools of technology can help make education more memorable and authentic. Technology is a change that must be embraced because it is here to stay and will only evolve as time goes on. It is up to teachers to bring technology into our classrooms because it is what students will have to face in the real world so it is up to us expose them to it as early as possible.
